Also know as Bearded D’Anvers, these tiny bantams are very friendly and quick to catch the eye. We have them in the Quail color pattern that is different from any other variety. The body is a brownish-black and is slightly tinged with a straw color. The breast is bay and the head is black with a bay colored beard and muff. One of the true bantams, meaning there is no standard bird of the same type, these little bearded birds have been bred for exhibition for many years in Britain and on the Continent. The hens are very friendly and make wonderful pets. The Antwerp Belgian is one of the many unique and beautiful birds you can see at the Petting Farm at Mountain Valley View Farm.
