Can you believe it’s coming up on the middle of September already?  The kids are back in school, and the Spokane Interstate Fair is in full swing.  The weather in Spokane is crisp, clear, and cooler.

It’s the time of year to reassess one’s overall health:

  • Is your blood pressure in the healthy range?
  • How about your cholesterol?
  • Does your diet include enough vegetables?
  • Do you have any sort of regular exercise program?

As the winter months come on, remember that with less sunshine follows decreased amounts of Vitamin D.  And, as a dentist, I must remind everyone of the need for regular dental check-ups and the need for daily brushing and flossing.  Dr. May, of the Mayo Clinic, says that by maintaining good oral health, you improve the quality of your life and may extend your life by 10 years.

Maintain your auto’s health by checking all fluids frequently.   Maintain your physical health by regular medical and dental checkups.

Happy flossing!
