Today, we will attend the funeral of a personal friend of my husband, whom he has known and respected for 18 years.  Following is short eulogy written by my husband.

For Funeral of Jackie Dickson:

It has been an honor and privilege for me to be able to call this great lady a friend.

As an Episcopal priest, she was a bold and determined pioneer in an effort to display equality and respect for women, men, and children from conception onward.

She had no confusion in her mind as to what was right and what was wrong or evil.

In my mind, there could not be a better model of how to make the radical choice of being a proactive witness to Christ’s way of life and how to show respect for the dignity of every human being than Jackie Dickson
