Happy Mother’s Day!

Today in the Hood household, as with all Mother’s Days, we awoke to the Hood children making Eggs Benedict and grilled asparagus. Mom works hard all year, so it’s nice to spoil her just a little on Mom’s Day.

Lunch is French onion soup with salad and giant seared scallops with Wasabi sauce and crab legs. Does everybody’s holidays center around meals?

In this family Mom organizes everything, but this day is organized by the kids. This year 14 of our 16 kids will be home. We will miss Brianne and her husband, who are in Portland, and Kyler, who is in San Francisco.

Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and anyone who had a mother.
